Ivan TSONA
Born on Sept 24, 1990, Ivan was a brilliant graduate of the Terebovlya Gymnasium and CHNU, specializing in German translation. A gifted teacher and regional Olympiad winner, he joined the Armed Forces in 2016, serving in the 44th and 14th brigades. The war found him in Mariupol, where he defended the city with unwavering courage until his final breath. Ivan made the ultimate sacrifice on April 8. He leaves behind a legacy of academic excellence and heroic devotion to Ukraine.
Taras STAHIV
Born on January 18, 2004, Taras was a student at CHNU’s Faculty of Foreign Languages and a graduate of Lyceum №1. A Black Belt in Zendokai Karate-do and a national champion, he was a member of the "Indomitable Nation" NGO. In October 2022, he joined the "Khartiya" unit, fighting in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. Taras fell in battle near Bakhmut on January 15, 2023. He was posthumously awarded the Order "For Courage," 3rd Class. A true athlete and hero, forever 18.
